Lamp. A carved lamp. The bowl of the lamp rests on the stooped shoulders of three male figures. The body of the bowl is decorated with scrolling patterns in relief and shells. The lid of the lamp is topped with female figures seated beneath a (Recto, mount) upper right, printed in black ink: "PLATE CLVIII." Lower center, printed in black ink: "WEDGWOOD. / 308. TRIPOD OF BLACK BASALT. / Geological Museum. italicized"
