The orderswere placed recently by Mr. Enyo, chief engineer of theTokio company, and financial arrangements have beenmade through the Japanese house of Mitsui & Co., ofNew York, whereby that firm guarantees the payment forthe machinery. The polyphase system of distribution at6600 volts will be used. The power house, which measures, inside dimensions,about 164 ft. x 102 ft., contains space for three 1800-hpengines, each directly connected to a 1200-kw. General 300 volts.
