MAYPORT, Fla. (March 28, 2017) - Rear Adm. Roy I. Kitchener, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group TWO (ESG-2), and Command Master Chief Kevin Goodrich pose for a photo with Capt. James Midkiff, commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and the ship’s master chief petty officers. Kitchener was onboard Iwo Jima to congratulate the ship for being awarded with the Battle Effectiveness Award for the sixth time since her commissioning in 2001.
