KINGS BAY (April 22, 2022) Caitlan, Charlotte, Maeve and Hattie Bray await their Sailor assigned to the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740), during the ship’s homecoming ceremony at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, following a routine strategic deterrent patrol. Rhode Island is one of six ballistic-missile submarines stationed at the base providing the most survivable leg of the strategic deterrence triad for the United States.
