They feel that they are induty bound to make an arrest, and whenthey make a mistake you have a nasty suiton your hands. The plan we have long usedhas been to place trusted employees in eachstore and tip them off when abnormal lossesoccur in any part of the store. They keepstrict watch, and usually are able to spotthe cause. If an employee of the store isguilty he or she is dismissed.
