Regenerating forest high above blue bays of Pacific Ocean and Golden Bay in the very northern part of Abel Tasman National Park. A very long peninsula is dividing Wainui Bay nearly in two parts. Im Norden des Abel Tasman Nationalparks erholt der Wald sich von den Kahlschlägen vergangener Zeiten. Am Fuß der Berge schimmdert das blaue Wasser der Wainui-Bucht, die von einer langen Halbinsel beinahe in zwei Teile getrennt wird.
