The drinking zvater problem of thehospital has been solved in various waysby various hospital men. There shouldbe a goodly supply of pure v ater easily procurable for the patient, for the nurse,for everybody. The system used by the writer at theOhio \alley General Hospital and at theRoyal A^ictoria Hospital is to distill allthe water for drinking and clinical pur-poses. On each floor, outlets were pro-vided where the water is cooled, install-ing a fountain for patients use ().
