Harry Purkhiser, who has been in service onthis division as brakeman and conductor sinceDecember 27, 1910, was promoted to yard-master at Storrs on September 25. S. A. Rogers, road foreman of engines, whowas in the Schneck Memorial Hospital for twoweeks as result of minor operation and somecomplications, is very much irhproved. J. H. Demann, dispatcher, Cincinnati Sub-Division, was in the Schneck Memorial Hospitalfor two weeks undergoing major operation. Heprobably will be able to return to duty soon.
