Yacht Club’s restaurant (Segelpaviljongen), one of Åland's most popular waterholes in summer. The restaurant is run by Chef Michael Björklund who has won the title Cook of the Year in both Sweden and Finland. The Åland Island Yacht Club (Åländska Segelsällskapet), founded in 1897, is one of the oldest yacht clubs in FinlandIn the western port right next to the large sailing ship Pommern, you will find the legendary Sails Pavilion which was designed by Lars Sonck restaurant can seat 80 people along with outdoor seating and the little paviljongenhar a total capacity of nearly 200 persons. Sails Pavilion is well known for its quality and is an important part of the local harbor. The focus here is on high quality food and service where the well-known tavern owner Michael Björklund is sure that the food quality and where the raw material is crucial in preparation. For this reason, the menu is composed daily of fresh produce from the countryside. On the bridge next to the pavilion is Pub Niska. This is a nice and different bar for a glass of beer or a slice of pizza or plate of bread that you would rather choose to call it. The feel and decor of the pub is to come on board on an old cargo ship and outside on the bridge, you can sit and enjoy the evening sun. Inside the pub there is space for 30 people and 30 people have room on the bridge.
