Joseph Deane, of Crumlin,became in 1661 High Sheriff of co. Dublin, in 1677 for S8 Dene^ Dt A dean e. Inistiogne, co. Kilkenny, and Seneschal of St. SepulchresLiberty 1688. In 1689 he was attainted for being a Pro-testant, and died in 1699. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Maurice Cuffe, ofQuinn, co. Clare, in 1652, as his second wife, and had by hertwo sons, Edward and Joseph (see pedigree)..
