The opening days of the Pageant ol Progress exposition, on the municipal pier, Chicago, amply })ro\ed the wis- dom of those mi'inbers of the tiade who worked hard to stage a consjdcuous dis- ])lay to get the ;ittentioii of the thou- sands of visitors. While there are not so many booths taken by florists as \v;is hoped, the few that are there get a vast amount of attention Irom the crowds. Henry Wittbold i^ Son anci Schilln tlie Florist are the only retailers who oecujiy booths. The former has a most interesting .'irraiigement of ro(d furnishings, including wickc'r cli.'iirs for visitors snid an icebox and work lor florists' scrutiny, from the A. L. Co., t.'hicago.
