Dead Sea swimming zone

A sign indicating a swimming zone in the Dead Sea at the Ein Gedi, just north of Masada National Park, Israel. The Dead Sea lake surface is about 430 metres below mean sea level and it is the lowest inland sea in the world. High evaporation rates in crease the density of salt and make the water more buoyant meaning that tourists can float more easily.
