Wizz Air has become the latest airline to operate services from London Southend Airport airport with an Airbus A320 arriving at night from Sibiu in Romania, due to depart later in the evening on the return flight. Additional services to Bucharest and Vilnius will commence in November. W!zz Air is a Hungarian low-cost airline with its head office in Budapest and has signed a five-year partnership with Stobart Group, owners of the airport, who hope that the new routes will bring in 250,000 passengers in the first year.
