An orphaned Afghan boy stands next to the Khost city Children of Hope headmaster while he talks to members of the Khost Provincial Reconstruction Team July 31. Currently, 240 children attend school at the facility and 37 of those kids are orphans. The school is specialized to teach and house children who have lost one or both parents due to hostile circumstances.
