Manchester, UK. 17th October, 2016. The Olympic and Paralympic heroes parade wound its way through Manchester City centre on Monday afternoon, October 17th. The athletes were assembled on back of large floats and accompanied by musicians and dancers to give it a carnival atmosphere. At the head of the parade was a large sculpted lion in the GB colours of red,white and blue bearing a large Olympic torch.
