Up to two thousand English Defence League activists and supporters marched through Woolwich, London, to the site of soldier Drummer Lee Rigby's murder to pay their respects. With a heavy police escort, the march passed off peacefully, although elements in the crowd were obviously drunk and drinking from cans of lager. Severalattempts at intimidation against members of the media were witnessed.
