Mathematical logic. Woodcut titled 'Typus Logice' that appeared in 'Aepitoma omnis phylosophiae' (1504) by the German author Georg Reisch (). This work is better known as 'Margarita philosophica' and was first published in 1503. This artwork, which varied between different editions, depicts a central huntress figure as an allegory of logic. The labelled elements (in Latin) include hunting dogs labelled truth (veritas) and untruth (falsitas) pursuing a hare (problema). At upper right is a forest of opinions (silva opinionis). The man at lower left is the philosopher Parmenides, looking at labelled mountain summits.
