A valuable new variety of Dwarf Wax Bean, which, while not re- lated to the well-known Currie's Rust-proof Wax, bears a great re- semblance to it in plant, pod and bean, but is entirely diflTerent in quality, as it is stringless and tender at all stages of its development. The plant grows to a medium size, and, having a strong, thick stem, standi up well even during a long season of stormy weather, thus- protecting the {X)ds from dirt and dampness. It is very productive, bearing large, handsome golden-yellow pods in great abundance, and, being very hardy, the seed may be planted early. "Sure-crop" is- more rust-proof and will stand a longer season of damp, wet weather than any other wax bean we know of, and these important features, together with the handsome appearance of the pods and good quality, will soon make it one of the leading varieties of Wax Bean, particu- larly for use in the home garden. The plant grows to a large size and is enormously productive, one plant having borne 56 well-developed pods and 16 small ones, and had the earlier pods been picked as soon as suitable for use this plant would doubtless have produced over 100 good pods. The shape of pod is round, size medium to long, slightly curved, medi
