(Oct. 15, 2000) -- An injured Sailor from the Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) shares a tearful reunion with her mother. 33 Sailors were injured when a suspected "terrorist" bomb struck the navy destroyer October 12th, 2000. All arrived at Naval Air Station Norfolk, Virginia, from Germany on an Air Force C-141 transport. Six remaining injured are stayed in Ramstein, Germany, until their condition becomes more stable.
