Lt. Col. John Orchard 492nd Fighter Squadron commander explains the capabilities of an F-15E Strike Eagle to Ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro and Brig. Gen. John Shapland, Defense Attache' to Israel, during the Blue Flag exercise at Uvda Air Force Base, Israel Nov. 25, 2013. Shapiro and Shapland met with personnel from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Israeli Air Force leaders and other allied partners during their visit. Blue Flag was a multinational aerial warfare exercise hosted by Israel, which promoted improved operational capability, combat effectiveness, understanding and cooperation between the , Israel, Greece, and Italy. The exercise ran from Nov. 24-28.
