Visible signs of Soviet bullet holes from the time of the 1968 Soviet invasion on the columns on the main facade of the National Museum on Wenceslas Square in Prague, Czech Republic. It is said that the bullet holes were deliberately filled in the wrong colour as a subtle protest against the suppression of the Prague Spring. The picture was taken just before the restoration works begun on the main building of the National Museum in March 2016. Only few bullet holes will remain after the restoration.
