Cissbury Ring Sussex. Iron age earthworks around 350BC, protected by a double bank: inner bank reached a height of 15 feet. Shadowy marks on top of the fort are remnants of Roman lynchets, or field systems, after the interior was ploughed up. Aerial view from hot air balloon.
