As can l)e recognized in theengraving, a lofty ornamentation reached from the cornice over thedoor to the edge of the roof. The door w&s reached by a flight ofsteps now destroyed. The roof is of stone and perfectly flat. A hall very similar to that of Xerxes is found also in Susa, onthe northern tumulus.
