Under an act of the legislature passed in 1880, each physician in thecounty (and in each county in the state) was required to register in theoffice of the county clerk his name, place of birth, residence, date ofdiploma, and the institution from which he was graduated, and the au-thority by which he_claimed the right to practice medicine in the compliance with the requirements of the act there has been a verygeneral registration by the physicians of this county, and in order tobring to the attenion of the reader the names of as many as possible ofthe past and present practitioners, we extract from the records thenames, with other data referred to, of those legally qualified to practicemedicine in Montgomery county since the above law was passed :.
