Richard Granke, a healthcare specialist with the 104th Medical Company Area Support, clambers over and under railings during the timed obstacle course in the 2021 Maryland Best Warrior Competition at H. Steven Blum Military Reservation, Edgewater, Maryland, on March 12, 2021. The competition is a multi-day marathon of mental and physical trials, pushing these elite service members to their limits. This year’s competition took place from March 11-14. Extensive sanitary safety measures made sure the competitors could safely display the best of their skills.
