Flower of Fish Poison Tree, "Barringtonia racemosa", also referred to as Freshwater Mangrove, Brack-Water Mangrove, Powder-puff Tree, Common Putat or wild Guava. Grows to between 4 and 8 metres, occassionally to 15 metres. Is a native of the Philippines but is also widespread throughout tropical regions of the world.
