I have seen the latter condition in a girlof eighteen years. A fibroma appears as a hard, -rounded mass in some cases; it ismultilobular in form in others. It is usually sessile and may vary insize from a grain of wheat to a couple of centimetres in diameter. Themucous membrane covering it is richly supplied with vessels, whichheightens the color of the tumor. 432 DISEASES OF THE LARYNX.
