Santa Maria church, Prats de Rei. XVIII century. Baroque.

The first documentary mention of the church of Santa Maria is 945 at the beginning of the first term resettlement. A new temple must have been dedicated during the twelfth century, and without any trace thereof that has remained. The current building was raised between 1685 and 1713. It is a single nave with side chapels, one of which, the Blessed Sacrament, has served as family vault Llobet. The facade is quite austere, with a rectangular portal, framed with pilasters that support makes a semicircular eardrum. The bell tower is octagonal square base and becomes halfway. At the rear there is a window with a shield of the town and the date 1685. There is also a niche with an image of the Virgin Mary.
