Members of the Army, 46th “Steel Spike” Engineer Battalion out of Fort Polk, Louisiana, recently deployed to Tyndall Air Force Base as part of Task Force Hammer, a combined task force consisting of both active duty engineers and the Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, for sole purpose of aiding our fellow service members in the recovery of Tyndall following Hurricane Michael.
