These lines weredamaged very slightly, but their operation was discontinueduntil April 7 on account of the power situation. The linesreceive current from the Lindenwald power station at Ham-ilton, Ohio, but were unable to get it because of the de-struction of the high-tension transmission lines extendingfrom Lindenwald to ONeils, the first substation south ofDayton. The northern district comprises the Lima city railway,. Ohio Flood—Damaged Track Between Springfield andDayton light, power and heat plants, the interurban lines betweenLima and Defiance, Lima and Toledo, Lima and FortWayne and Lima and Springfield. On these lines the damage was very slight, though about17 miles of track were under water, and one end of thebridge at West Liberty dropped a little, but has beenraised since.
