The female of this fpecies is rather lefs than the male ;and her horns never grow to that prodigious fize. Thofe of Kamfchatka are fo ftrong, that ten men canfcarcely hold one; and the horns fo large, that youngfoxes often {belter themfelves in the hollow of fuch asfall off by accident.
