Even though boats, carrying people, gliding gently over the Buriganga is surely a welcoming sight, this is also quite risky amid the coronavirus pandemic. With the ongoing shutdown in place, boatmen have been struggling to make ends meet. Desperate, many have started plying their boats on the river to transport passengers from Sadarghat to Keraniganj.  as Government call a fifth time increase the general holiday till May 15, 2020, due to Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
