Sept. 13— I had a perfectly delightful time at the lawn party this evening. It is the first social function of the schoolyear, given by the Y. W. C. A. to the new girls. Each Newish was called for by a Y. W. C. A. member and con-ducted on the campus, which was beautifully lighted by Japanese lanterns.
