A Marine assigned to 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), II Marine Expeditionary Force conducts a communications signal link check with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) prior to the live fire exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune , on Mar. 4, 2021. HIMARS provide a unique capability for the Marine Corps, specifically the MEUs, to easily maneuver and deploy, boosting the MEUs lethality and agility in theater.
