Dorset mother Clare Busst sets up her rowing machine in Bournemouth Square in an attempt to break the world record for the 26-mile marathon which currently stands at 2hours and 59 minutes, set 13 years ago by Irish rower Siobhan Norman. Dorset mother Clare Busst sets up her rowing machine in Bournemouth Square in an attempt to break the world record for the 26-mile marathon which currently stands at 2hours and 59 minutes, set 13 years ago by Irish rower Siobhan Norman. Children and adults are invited to donate and see how far they can row in a minute. Money raised is for the Round Table Children's Wish which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and grants wishes for children aged 4 to 17 who have a life-threatening illness. Team GB Paralympian Aaron Phipps provides support and tests his speed on one of the rowing machines.
