PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 1, 2015) Hull Technician 2nd Class Zachary Skates tests an Oxy-Acetylene torch while conducting maintenance in the metal shop aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2).
