Taormina Mare or Mazzaro is the coastal resort of Taormina high on itshilltop position on Sicily's eastern coast. It is a popular tourist resort with a sweeping bay and the beautiful Isola Bella Island with its shallow causeway access. There is a frequent cable car service that takes people up and down to Taormina and the coastal railway train is just behind the pebbly beach. Boat Trips to the Blue Grotto on the promontory can be arranged and aldo on the promontory is a house where Mussolina spent summer visits.
