Slater, former dairy andfood commissioner of Minnesota, now connected withthe educational department of the Blue ValleyCreamery Company, Chicago, who has been identifiedwith the calf club promotion work in Illinois, weresecured. He addressed various meetings and arousedgreat interest not only in the calf clubs but in dairyinggenerally. Great difficulty is now being experienced,however, in securing the calves for the several clubs. AT THE CALF CLOT PUBLIC AUCTION IN THE FALL organized. The boys andgirls become more interested in the farm, and increasedinterest on their part means a new enthusiasm fordairying on the part of the parents.
