Class 66 diesel number 66 509 operated by Freightliner Heavy haul with a loaded coal train on the Serttle to carlisle railway line. The train is just approaching the summit of the line at Ais Gill and has just travelled South along the West side of the Mallerstang valley. It has just passed over Ais Gill viaduct and is about to go under the B6259 road at Cotegill bridge shortly after which it will pass from Cumbria into North Yorkshire. It is heading for one of the coal fired power stations in Yorkshire.
