Two men report to King Nebuchadnezzar that Sadrach, Mesach and Abednego do not want to bend for the golden image that the king has had. On the left the golden statue and a human mass adore the image. Sadrach, Mesach and Abednego remain. In the background a burning oven, in which everyone refuses to worship the image will be thrown. Under the show an explanatory text in Latin.
