A sword and insignia of an air force colonel. In a case, circa 1925. The sword with a richly etched, gilt and blued Hörster blade with the Italian air force eagle. Gilt knuckle-bow hilt in rich relief with black plastic grip, crowned eagle-headed pommel with red glass eyes, sword knot. Brown leather scabbard (rubbed) with gilt fittings in relief. Length ca. 89 cm. Additionally, three different hangers, two brocade belts with gilt buckles in relief, a blue sash, two pairs of shoulder boards and several cordings.
