Sandford lane runs from Kennington Village, Oxfordshire to Sandford Locks on the Thames. Its low-lying topography and proximity to the river makes it prone to flooding. And that's exactly what has happened here. After weeks of heavy rain, the Thames water levels rose by a metre and overflowed. The result can be seen here. Fortunately, an elevated footpath is available for pedestrians, cyclists and dog walkers; drivers are not so lucky!
