It has been tested in England, Scotland, and Ireland, and side by side with the standard varieties, including, of course, Skirving's, and has proved to be superior to all of them, in some instances giving as much as ten tons more per acre. Price, per pound, postpaid, 50 cents; per ± pound, 18 cents; per ounce, 10 cents; per package, 5 cents. WJ^ITM MILAN TURNIP. For early use the white top turnips are better than the purple. In our experimental grounds this white variety matured earlier than the Purple Milan, which makes it the earliest of all turn ips. Top and tap root small.
