Pectoral nearly as long as head, reaching ventral; base of latter below anterior rays of dorsal. Caudal peduncle IJ times as long as deep. Scales longitudinally striated, 28-29 ~^, 2 between lateral line and ventral, 12 round caudal peduncle. Dark olive-brown above, whitish beneath ; tins grey. Total length 270 millim.
