Hungry to the Core by Leslie E. Robertson Assoc. in the 22nd annual Canstruction Design Competition in New York, seen on Monday, November 10, 2014, on display in Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan. This sculpture is comprised of 3300 cans and will feed 752 New Yorkers. Architecture and design firm participate to design and build giant structures made from cans of food. The cans are donated to City Harvest at the close of the exhibit. Over 100,000 cans of food were collected and will be used to feed the needy at 500 soup kitchens and food pantries. (© Richard B.
