London, UK. 31 July 2016. The actual match ball and duplicate Jules Rimet trophy on display for one day only at the Victoria and Albert museum as part of the 50th anniversary of England winning the 1966 World Cup final. The trophy on display is the actual one that victorious players drank champagne out of. Brazil went on to win the trophy outright allowing them to keep it, but when the original was stolen, this trophy became the only one to have been present at the Wembley final and was later purchased by FIFA in 1997 for GBP 254,500.
