More recently experiments have been conducted in picking the pea- nuts green and drying them artificially. Machines for digging and pick- ing are available. The practice is not yet common and there are not enough available data to indicate how economical it may be. This method oilers a possibility of reducing the amount of labor involved in harvesting.
