Crown squirrelfish (Sargocentron diadema, striped) and red soldierfish (Myripristis murdjan). Crown squirrelfish are found in the tropical Indo-Pacific. They reach a length of 15 to 25 centimetres. Red soldierfish inhabit reef flats, shallow lagoons and seaward reefs in the Indo-Pacific. They are mainly nocturnal, feeding on plankton such as crab larvae. They grow up to 60 centimetres in length. Photographed in the Red Sea, Egypt.
