YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 19, 2017) – Machinist’s Mate Fireman Mikaeyla Miller, from Daly City, Cali., attached to the 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), performs maintenance on the ship’s main reduction gear (MRG). Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
