Air Force 2nd Lt. Tyler Brewer, Air Force Research Laboratory Directed Energy Directorate, Kirkland Air Force Base, , takes cover Sept. 25, 2018, as his forward operating base entry control point comes under fire during the annual Tech Warrior Exercise at the National Center for Medical Readiness in Fairborn, Ohio. Tech Warrior gave researchers a taste of what it is like out in the field as well as giving developers a chance to demonstrate new technology under field conditions.
